Italy 2023

In June of 2023, our group visited the ancient town of Agropoli, Italy. In the region of Campania, famous for its Amalfi coast, we stayed cliffside of the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian sea, in a converted monastery from the 1300s.

We spent an incredible 7 days immersed in Italy’s local culture and breathtaking natural surroundings. This country is known for its food, wine, Mediterranean lifestyle, and ancient history; all experiences that we offered in this all-inclusive trip.

Each morning, we began with yoga to bring new life to your practice and start your day taking in these views of an unforgettable experience. Included were daily breakfast that are locally sourced and hand-crafted, with some of the world’s best coffee! The week brought our guests outdoor experiences truly unique to an ‘Italian summer’ - from pasta making and wine tasting, to exploring the coast by boat. We were fortunate to be in proximity to the Baia di Trentova beach, multiple Italian restaurants and cafes, and ancient Greek ruins, to name a few.

Cooking Class | Pasta Making

We’ll discover what it takes to cook a true italian meal! Learning from a local Italian neighbor, we will enjoy picking our own vegetables from the garden and kneading out the dough for a delicious pasta dish (pasta menu will be decided by the cook prior to arrival. Think ravioli, linguine!). After cooking we will enjoy our meal with a glass of wine together.

Boat Trip Around Capri

On this full day excursion, we will be waking up early to travel to Amalfi where we will board a boat to take us to the island of Capri. Here, we will spend the next few hours enjoying swimming holes, small beaches, hop off on the island for a quick bite to eat, and board the boat back to the coastline. Don’t want to miss this insta-worthy trip and experience!

Buffalo Mozzarella Making and Wine Tour

Famous to this region, we will explore a Buffalo ranch, equipped with showing us how the cheese is made from start to finish. After seeing how it was made, we will do cheese tastings before heading to the wine tasting! Next up we will travel to the vineyard close by for white and red wine tastings, where you can pick up a few bottles to bring home to share!

Greek Ruins and Archeological Tour

Find out more about the fascinating and ancient history specific to the Campania coast on this tour. We will have a guided tour into the ancient ruins from 6th century, including a tomb only discovered in the 20th century, and the temple of Poseidon. Think Athens temples in Italy! These are the oldest Greek ruins in Italy, with a magnificent view and adjacent little town, there is more to this tour than history!
